There's also many special "boudoir" lots that include a wide array of hard to find items such as snoods, caps, slippers, hair curlers to name a few. Auction Terms & Conditions TERMS AUCTIONEER: Annie Hodges is a Licensed Auctioneer in the state of South Carolina. Her license number is SCL #4679. BUYER: You are a Buyer if you register and bid on any item in this online auction. ELIGIBILITY: All Buyers must be 18 years or older to register and bid in this auction and be accepted by the Auctioneer. Accepted Buyers are entering into a contractual agreement to pay for any items they won as the highest bidder. Auctioneer has the right to deny and reject any Buyer for any reason. REGISTRATION: You must have a validated credit card to participate in this auction. A small hold may be placed on your card for a brief period of time during validation. This is to verify the card is valid, however, it does not actually charge your card. CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION: Buyer is entering into a Contractual Agreement by participating in this auction and agrees to all conditions set forth by the Auctioneer. LOTS: All Lots are provided by Consigners and or the Auctioneer. All Lot titles remain the property of the Consigner and/or Auctioneer until the total amount of your invoice has been paid (hammer price/invoice total for winning lots + 25% Buyers Premium + shipping). Auctioneer has the right to withdraw any lot at any time. ONLINE BUYERS: This auction may be on multiple online auction sites and the bids left by buyers may not be known to the auctioneer until the exact moment of the sale. The auctioneer does not know the maximum bid amounts left by bidders. Multiple bidders are bidding on multiple online auction hosting sites for the same item in the same dollar amount and often during the last seconds of a lot closing. The Auctioneer has the absolute right accept the first bid she sees. Once the hammer has fallen to the highest bidder, the property is considered sold by the Auctioneer. Absentee or Phone Buyers: Auctioneer and staff may place bids for other Buyers. Please call or office if you wish to bid by phone. SHIPPING: We plan to use USPS Priority Mail for this auction. All small flat rate boxes in the Continental United States ship for $15.00 with $50.00 insurance. Additional insurance may be required to fully insure your package. We charge the shipping amount, insurance, and $10.00 box fee for a medium sized box and $20.00 for latge boxes. Insurance is required at full value of the invoice at the Buyers expense. Once your item has shipped, a tracking number(s) will be provided to you via email. It is the Buyers responsibility to track their package and coordinate any transit issues with the carrier. Items can be picked up from our location the day after the auction ends. If you plan to pick your items up, please call us so we can have everything ready for you when you arrive. TAXES AND FEES: South Carolina Residents will pay a 7% state tax. Auctioneer is located in South Carolina and collects only South Carolina taxes from South Carolina residents. Your state may require you to pay taxes on your purchase. It is your responsibility to know and report and taxes you may owe to your state. Buyers home state may require the Buyer to report and/or pay any taxes arising from purchases made by Buyer in this sale. IF YOU HAVE A RESALE CERTIFICATE, YOU MUST SUBMIT IT TO US 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE AUCTION. NO EXCEPTIONS. PAYMENT: All payments in US Dollars only. Payment is due upon receipt of your invoice or no later than within 24 hours. Auctioneer will email you an invoice with a link to pay your total amount due at the end of the auction. We accept credit and debit cards from Mastercard, VISA, American Express, and Discover. We also accept wire transfers and cash. We do not accept checks, PayPal, or any other form of payment. Once payment is made and accepted by the Auctioneer, title and goods will transfer to buyer. The Auctioneer has the right to charge $20 per day storage fees for not picking up or completing shipping arrangements within 7 days from the end of the auction. Storage fees begin on the 8th day. Cash Buyers must pay their invoice under the same terms as those who are having us ship to them. Auctioneer will consider any items not picked up within 30 days as abandoned and has the right to resell items in any manner she sees fit. You will receive a ninvoice for shipping after you have paid for your purchase invoice. BUYERS PREMIUM: The auctioneer charges a 25% buyers premium. CONDITION: Auctioneer offers all lots "AS IS - WHERE IS." All sales are final, and returns are not accepted. Auctioneer tries to offer detailed photos, description, condition, estimate, and multiple photographs of every item. Under no circumstances does Auctioneer claim to be a certified expert in any field and the Buyer is responsible for doing their due diligence prior to bidding. Due diligence includes attending a viewing of lots offered prior to the sale, researching similar items that have sold, and determining estimate, value, and condition using their own experience. Neither the Auctioneer or the Consigner will be held responsible for condition, age, description, provenance, etc. for any item whether written or oral. Measurements, dimensions, and condition are approximate. Buyers are encouraged to contact Auctioneer with any questions relating to items. Auctioneer will make every effort to respond within 24 hours. The Auctioneer will not be able to answer any questions on sale day.
